Irish Pop sensations Boyzone are set to play a headline show at the QEII Fields In Trust Town Park Arena, Telford on Saturday June 27 2015.

Tickets are now on sale for the concert which forms part of the Boyzone summer tour, and Telford is confirmed to be the West Midlands date on that tour.

Ronan Said “We love the chance to play outdoors through the summer so I’m looking forward to a great night in Telford”. Shane added “The crowd in the Midlands are always superb.”

In November 1993 a bunch of young lads from the North side of Dublin infamously appeared on Ireland’s biggest TV show ‘The Late Late Show’ and the rest, as they say… is history.

Twenty one singles, seven albums, four of which were #01’s, twenty five million record sales, hundreds of gigs, millions of memories and twenty two years later, Boyzone are still going strong. A phenomenal start to a musical career, they scored 16 consecutive top five singles including ‘Love Me For A Reason’, ‘Father and Son’ and ‘Picture of You’ and the run included six number one’s: ‘Words’, ‘A Different Beat’, ‘All That I Need’, ‘No Matter What’, ‘When The Going Gets Tough’ and ‘You Needed Me’. Boyzone will be performing many of these hits at Telford in June.
