Mercedes-Benz of Shrewsbury has opened its doors to their new state-of-the-art dealership, located at the junction of Battlefield Way and Vanguard Way. Part of the Drayton Group, the local Shrewsbury based Mercedes-Benz and Smart dealership has made a multi-million pound investment into the development of its new high tech premises. The new dealership has been eight months in the making with precision design, planning and management to ensure it provides the ultimate Mercedes-Benz customer experience.
The new site boasts the ‘world debut’ of the new Mercedes-Benz black and silver branding, the only dealership anywhere with the latest corporate identity. The sleek building design and corporate styling are a direct reflection of the Mercedes-Benz brand. With every aspect meticulously planned, attention has also been paid to its green credentials. The eco-friendly building has been designed to minimise wasted space and maximise the use of natural light where possible. Grey water harvesting is in place, with all vehicles washed and cleaned using recycled water. This eco-friendly building, along with the ever improving Mercedes-Benz Co2 emissions figures makes for an all-round greener experience.
The new Mercedes-Benz of Shrewsbury flagship replaces the Battlefield Road site, which had been home to the company for 20 years. David Buxton, General Manager at Mercedes-Benz Shrewbury, said: “We’d been at our Battlefield Road premises since 1994 and we’ve simply outgrown the site. We want to be able to provide our customers with the very best and our fantastic new facility offers so much more. We have a significantly larger dedicated customer parking area, comfortable reception and lounge and a 25 car New and Approved Used showroom. These are just some of the new facilities available. With the new flagship site comes an array of exclusive customer facilities. The journey starts with access to a huge dedicated customer parking area. On arrival you’ll be greeted by friendly and helpful reception staff and you can sit back and relax in the spacious customer lounge, where customers can meet with staff and talk through vehicle details in absolute comfort. The dealership boasts a 25 car New and Approved Used Mercedes-Benz showroom and access to a much bigger Smart car selection – there is so much choice on offer and easy access to all the latest models. The Approved Used offering continues with a large outside display and it doesn’t stop there. The state-of-the-art services extend with the MyService facility. MyService allows customers to book and specify the services they require at a time that suits them best. The online booking portal allows you to select from MOT, diagnostics, repairs etc. giving you an instant quote and lets you decide the time and date that suits you.
An official launch event is taking place across the weekend of the 27 – 29 June. Customers and their families are welcome to come along and meet the team and see the new premises. It will be a weekend full of special offers and family entertainment. The same weekend will see the launch of the new C – Class, where customers can arrange a test drive and explore the newest of the Mercedes-Benz models.
